I arrived at 12:15 PM for my 12:30PM interview. I think I was most nervous about sitting in the coffee house for the interview and having customers listen in on the conversation. The Manager is great though and we hit it off. I impressed myself with my witty charm and precise answers. The Manager actually thought I studied her manuel before the interview. Having worked in the service industry since I was 14, I guess some good philosphies rubbed off.

Now how is it that a coffee house is offering benefits to part time staff that exceed some of my friends working in high-salaried postions for international corporations? There is something to be learned from this job. I have my second interview on Monday with the Assistant Manager. She has already become a friend of mine so I doubt that will be a taxing interview.
