Okay, Clearly I lack the focus at this point to maintain a daily post. This is something I will work toward. Many exciting things have occured for me in the last few weeks.

I started work at the Coffee House. It's a fun job. Relatively brainless with a lil anxiety attached to learning the drink formulas and understanding the cash register.

I have re-painted my bedroom.

I bought an armoire from India that I have been retro-fitting to use a my computer workstation. It is very kool and I have enjoyed the manly tasks of working with wood to create a sacred space for my writing.

I made a contact through the coffee house for a creative non-fiction writers group.

I laughed my ass off at American Wedding with my friends.

I am getting ready for a nutritional conference in Portland, OR.

All in all, I like it in the South. I miss my friends in NY but I trust that some relations will transcend geographic distance.
